At 07:30 hrs, we will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi, your residence, or Nairobi airport.

Embark on a comfortable journey in your private 4 x 4 Jeep, heading towards the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve.

As we venture into the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the landscape unfolds dramatically. Along the way, we'll make stops to refresh and marvel at the impressive features of the escarpment.

Descending to the valley floor, we'll traverse the scenic Masai country, catching glimpses of colorful herdsman along the way as we approach the reserve. Anticipate arriving at the Masai Mara around lunchtime, where we'll savor our meal at the chosen accommodation.

Prepare for an extraordinary experience in the vast and vibrant reserve, renowned for its diverse wildlife. The sweeping hills and savannahs are home to hunters and grazers, both large and small, creating an unparalleled ecosystem.

Your inaugural game drive will serve as an introduction to the abundance and variety of wildlife you'll encounter during your three-day adventure in the park.

Overnight:
You’ll spend the first of two nights in the park at your choice of safari lodge or tented camp.

Rise early to witness the park's abundant wildlife, known to be the densest in the region. It's a day of limitless game drives across the golden fields, passing distinctive acacia trees that grace these plains.

Keep a keen eye out for Africa's Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. The birdlife is equally prolific, and if you're here during the Great Migration season (July – October), brace yourself for the planet's most massive animal movement.

During the migration, wildebeest and zebra cross into the park by the thousands at the Mara River, home to hippos and lurking crocodiles. The potential for drama is inevitable as the herds enter the lands for fresh grasses while predators await.

To enhance your Masai Mara experience, consider an optional visit to one of the local villages, where you can meet the Maasai and observe their lifestyle up close.

Another optional adventure is an early morning hot air balloon ride over the reserve. Witness the park coming to life below as the fields light up and wildlife begins a new day on the savannah. It's a magnificent experience – simply ask your driver/guide to arrange either or both activities.

We’ll spend our second night in the park at your choice of accommodation.

On our final safari day, let's maximize the experience with an early rise and game drive. By now, your list of animal sightings should be impressive, but there's always room for more.

While you're likely to have spotted zebras and gazelles, keep an eye out for cheetahs moving through the bush, as well as jackals and hyenas.

We'll savor one last game drive as we exit the park on our journey back to Nairobi.

A lunch stop will provide a refreshing break during the drive back to the city.

DropOff:

We anticipate arriving back in Nairobi in the late afternoon and will drop you off at your hotel, residence, or the airport.
