Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner

Start your safari with a convenient pick-up from your beach hotel or resort. As we set out on the picturesque Mombasa – Nairobi Highway, you'll be treated to views of expansive farmlands and the scenic Kenyan countryside. Throughout the journey, we'll make several stops for you to stretch your legs and enjoy refreshing breaks.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Start your day with an early breakfast and a thrilling game drive as we bid farewell to the reserve and head towards Amboseli National Park, nestled at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro – Africa's highest and the world's largest free-standing mountain.

Amboseli boasts one of the most densely populated communities of free-roaming elephants. Rest assured, you'll witness these majestic creatures confidently going about their daily routines. In this more intimate park, wildlife spotting is a breeze, offering excellent chances to encounter wildebeest, zebras, and even the elusive lions and cheetahs.

For those interested, we provide an optional opportunity to visit the local Maasai people. Your guide will readily handle all the arrangements if you decide to explore this cultural experience.

The sun will greet us as we rise early and with luck, the clouds covering Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summit will part for us.

We’re off on a final game drive and to take one last look at Amboseli’s famous elephants.

But now we’re headed to the Rift Valley and its astonishing escarpments. On the way, Nairobi beckons and we’ll stop at the capital for lunch at one of its distinctive restaurants.

Arriving at Lake Naivasha, we’ll have time to take a boat safari across this high-altitude, fresh-water lake. We’ll sail by hippos as we spot the park’s busy birdlife and even see zebra, antelope and others grazing on the shore.

The Lake Naivasha area is surrounded by other natural parks and preserves teeming with wildlife. Our adventure continues with a bicycle ride to the nearby Hell’s Gate National Park, providing a uniquely immersive safari experience as we ride or walk amidst the peacefully foraging animals. It's a wonderful way to get remarkably close to the wildlife.

Following this, a swift one-hour drive will take us to Lake Nakuru National Park, an enchanting haven for large animals, a crucial rhino sanctuary, and an alkaline lake renowned for its birdlife, particularly flamingoes.

In which other park can you witness the vibrant fuchsia birds alongside lion, cheetah, and endangered black rhinos?

Today marks the beginning of our journey to the majestic Masai Mara! We'll rise early and enjoy a brief game drive as we exit Lake Nakuru.

On our way, we'll indulge in lunch and reach the park in time for an afternoon drive, capturing our initial glimpse of the park's distinctive rolling hills and expansive savannahs.

The Masai Mara National Reserve stands out as a unique ecosystem. Beyond being Kenya’s most renowned park, it plays a pivotal role as a corridor for the natural migration of millions of wildebeests and zebras.

Get ready for an unforgettable day of game drives and intense animal viewing. The Masai Mara is blessed as one of the most diverse wildlife and well-populated regions in Africa. Besides the “Big Five”, it is home to thousands, and sometimes during the Great Migration (July – October) millions of herding wildebeests and zebra, making their way across the river in search of sustenance.

We’ll fill our day with animal watching on the great savannahs dotted with beautiful acacia trees and down by the Mara River where the animals cross into the park. There, we’ll spot the hippo and crocodile in their natural habitat.

We offer several optional activities to enhance your enjoyment of the Mara experience. If you’d like, ask your guide to arrange a visit with the local Maasai people in a nearby village. You can see their bomas up close and learn about their herding lifestyle.

For an unforgettable memory of the Mara, take an optional hot air balloon safari over the dawning plains and watch as the reserve comes to life as you soar above. Your guide can also arrange for this very special moment.

Prepare for an early start with a pre-breakfast game drive, immersing yourself in the serene morning light that bathes the expansive reserve.

Following the game drive, savor a robust safari breakfast, energizing you for the journey ahead. Take advantage of one last game drive as we bid farewell to the magnificent Masai Mara, making our way back to Nairobi.

Anticipate our arrival in Nairobi in the late afternoon.

This 7-day adventure has unfolded across 5 national parks, unveiling a series of Gaga Tours discoveries that few have the privilege to experience. We trust you've relished every moment of this unique journey with us.
