At 7:00 AM, we'll pick you up from your hotel, residence, Nairobi airport, or a location of your choice for a brief transfer to Wilson Airport.

Embark on a scenic one-hour flight to the Masai Mara, providing a stunning aerial perspective of Kenya's expansive landscape. Along the way, catch glimpses of the iconic Mt. Kilimanjaro and the dramatic escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Upon mid-morning arrival at the Mara airstrip, your guide from Natural World Kenya Safaris will welcome you in a private open-top 4x4 Safari Jeep.

Embark on a short game drive en route to your safari lodge or tented camp, allowing you to familiarize yourself with the great reserve. After settling in and refreshing, indulge in a delicious lunch.

During lunch, your guide will provide insights into the park, its wildlife, and the various areas you can explore. The Masai Mara boasts a rich ecosystem teeming with predators and grazers, including prides of lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and other carnivores.

Prepare for your inaugural game drive, traversing the Mara's hills and plains, passing by the iconic acacia trees—a symbol of Africa and the great park.

Over the next four days, tailor your game-viewing experience to your preferences. Opt for unlimited drives or take leisurely breaks to relax at your accommodation—the choice is yours.

Note: Guests staying at conservancies who wish to journey to the Mara triangle area for Great Migration river crossings will incur an $120 per person surcharge.

Overnight: After a busy day of travel and game viewing, it’s time to rest and enjoy dinner at your safari lodge or tented campground.

On our safari adventures, we embrace the early morning sun, observing its golden light blanket the fields. This time of day is optimal for game viewing, with cool temperatures and wildlife beginning their day.

The Masai Mara proudly hosts Africa's renowned 'Big Five' – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. Additionally, the park is home to a diverse array of over 95 mammal species.

For those fortunate enough to visit during the Great Migration season (July – October), brace yourself for the remarkable spectacle of a multitude of wildlife crossing the Mara River from the neighboring Serengeti. Tens of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles inundate the park on their annual migration, in search of lusher grasslands.

Return to your accommodation for a hearty breakfast, preparing you for the final game drive and the journey back. Shortly after, embark on our last drive through the park in the reliable 4x4 Jeep, making our way to the airstrip.
