At 7:30 AM, we'll pick you up from either your Nairobi hotel or the Nairobi airport. Begin your journey as you depart Nairobi and head towards the enchanting Samburu Game Reserve. Get ready for an immersive safari experience in the heart of the Kenyan wilderness.

Exploring Beautiful Places

Today, we'll drive through pretty landscapes in Kenya. We'll see tea, coffee, and farms along the way. The weather and plants will change as we go from the highlands to the dry areas in northern Kenya.

Later in the day, get ready for a fun game drive in Samburu. You'll see lots of animals in their natural homes. It's a cool way to explore Kenya's different places and the animals that live there.

Today promises an extraordinary game viewing experience!

The Masai Mara, renowned globally and Kenya's most iconic park, is a visual delight with its expansive rolling hills and picturesque acacia trees. Additionally, it boasts a rich and varied array of wildlife, making it a prime location to witness animals engaged in hunting, stalking, and grazing across the plains. The spectacle becomes even more captivating during the Great Migration (July – October), when millions of wildebeest and zebra cross the Mara River from the neighboring Serengeti, offering an unforgettable display of life's endless cycle of survival. In close proximity, crocodiles and lions patiently await their opportunities.

Gaga Tours provides two optional excursions in the Mara. You have the opportunity to embark on an early morning hot air balloon ride over this remarkable landscape and visit the local Maasai people to gain insights into their ancient herding culture. Embark on one final early morning game drive at Amboseli, soaking in the captivating wildlife scenes before a relatively short journey to Tsavo West – one of Kenya's grandest, most ancient, and aesthetically pleasing parks. Tsavo West presents a delightful blend of hill country, extinct volcanoes adorned with dark lava flows, and lush green springs. Our exploration includes a visit to the enchanting Mzima Springs, surrounded by life-giving waters and palm-lined shores. In this vibrant habitat, observe elephants, zebras, and various wildlife drawn to this replenishing oasis. Encounter hippos and crocodiles, residents of this lush haven.

A swift journey brings you to the train station at Mtito Andei. Your guide will expertly handle ticketing and facilitate your transfer to the standard gauge Nairobi-Mombasa Train (Madaraka Express), a cutting-edge high-speed train transporting you to Mombasa and the captivating Kenya Coast.

Dropoff:

Your first-class ticket is a complimentary inclusion with the tour, allowing you to relish the comfort of your air-conditioned compartment while traversing sections of both Tsavo West and East parks. The train's elevated route provides splendid views of the passing landscapes, offering an immersive experience higher than the roadway. Approximately at 10:45 am, arrive at the train station.

10:54 am: Depart for Mombasa on the Madaraka Express Train, offering elevated country views through parts of Tsavo West & Tsavo East national parks.

14:00 pm: Arrive at Mombasa train station, where you will be met by your hotel transfer vehicle and driver.
